Welcome to Norwayne Local

The Norwayne Local School District has continually rated high on the State Report Card.   Our challenge as a district is not only to maintain our high ratings but to respond to the new challenges facing education today.

Paving Bid Notice

NHS Paving Bid Notice:

LEGAL NOTICE

The Norwayne Local School District is hereby giving notice that sealed bids for a 2016 Paving Program project at Norwayne High School will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, at the Norwayne Superintendent’s Office, 350 South Main Street, Creston, Ohio 44217. 

Training Facility Raffle - Indians Basket

There is a basket filled with Indians Merchandise that will be raffled to benefit The Norwayne Athletic Training Building fund.

WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF-SALT

 The Wayne County Sheriff's office is now providing substance abuse awareness notifications and updates through text messaging. Please text the word SALT to 888777 to receive these notifications. Knowledge and awareness of substance abuse by our community members can help in the battle against substance abuse in our area.

 

Indoor Training Facility Community Campaign

The Norwayne Training Facility Committee (co-chaired by Tim Garman and John Hall), in conjunction with Norwayne athletic teams, is embarking on a campaign to build a new indoor training facility at Norwayne High School.

Online Parent Access - Food Service

Norwayne Local Schools have enrolled in MySchoolAccount.com. This service provides parents with a secure, fast, and convenient way to view and manage student lunch activity.

Giant Eagle - Apples for Students

Earn points for Norwayne Elementary PTO while buying your groceries. If you shop Giant Eagle, please sign up for their Apples for Students program.  The program flier can be accessed here.  Our school number is #5463.  Thanks for your support!

Weather Delay or Closing

Under conditions of hazardous weather or roads, school may be cancelled for the day. Wooster radio, WQKT 104.5 FM and WKVX 960 AM, will broadcast school delay or closing information by 6:00 a.m. Cancellations will also be reported to WQMX 94.9 FM, WONE 97.3 FM, WAKR 1590 AM and Cleveland TV stations, Channels 3, 5, 8 and 19.
